MoNbSe2 ternary alloy transition metal dichachalcogenide crystals have been synthesized using flux zone growth method. Typical alloying ratio is set at 50:50% Nb0.5Mo0.5Se2. Their composition value was determined using XPS, SAED, and EDS measurements. These crystals come 100% no phase separation guarantee and thus Nb is fully alloyed into MoSe2 host matrix. While MoSSe, MoWSe2, and other TMDCs alloys have been characterized in the literature MoNbSe2 alloys remain largely unexplored.
