World's first commercially available NbAs2 non-magnetic semimetal vdW crystals
NbAs2 crystal belongs to a larger family of transition metal dipnictides MPn2 (M = V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, and W, Pn = P, As and Sb). It crystallizes in OsGe2 type structure which is monoclinic with the centrosymmetric space group of C12/m1. NbAs2 exhibit extraordinary physical properties including semi-metallicity, anomalous magnetoresistance, and other topological properties. Our NbAs2 crystals has been synthesized through self-transport technique using NbAs2 poly-crystalline substance as the precursor.
