World's first commercially available TaCo2Te2 vdW crystals. TaCo2Te2 crystals exhibit a layered structure consisting of Peierls distorted Co chains. TaCo2Te2 bulk crystals can be easily exfoliated down to thin-layers owing to their large vdW gap between the adjacent layers. TaCo2Te2 exfoliated sheets have high environmental stability and exhibit canted antiferromagnetic response (experimentally confirmed in the literature)
