Our customers knows that slim amount of defects and magnetic impurities are sufficient to mask the observation of exotic magnetic behavior from 2D magnets. Our vdW magnets are created using state-of-the-art techniques to provide highest magnetic quality crystals through slow but high quality self-flux technique without using any contaminating transport agents.
Vanadium disulfide (VS2) is a layered vdW magnet and 2D metal. Recent studies have identified VS2 as potential 2D magnetic materials with attractive magnetic, electronic, and catalytic properties. Our VS2 crystals have been synthesized at 6N magnetic purity quality to ensure VS2 crystals are free of impurities. The latter is particularly crucial to obtain clean magnetic signal from VS2 layers.
